Refund, Cancellation and Payment Policy

Enlightened Circle Foundation (“ECF”, “we”, “our”) is a purpose-driven spiritual and meditation foundation committed to integrity, discipline, and transparency in all membership contributions and program enrollments.

This Refund & Cancellation Policy governs all payments made on the ECF Learning Management System (“LMS Platform”).

By making a payment, the user (“Member”, “Participant”, “You”) agrees to the terms outlined below.


1. NATURE OF OFFERINGS

ECF programs include:

  • Digital meditation learning modules
  • Guided sessions and structured spiritual practices
  • Membership-based access to sacred teachings
  • Community discipline and mentor-guided spaces

These are non-tangible, digital-access services, where access is granted immediately upon confirmation.

Therefore, refund terms differ from physical goods.

2. GENERAL NO-REFUND RULE

All payments made toward:

  • Membership contributions (monthly/annual)
  • LMS course access fees
  • Guided program enrollments
  • Retreat or session registration fees
  • Digital resources, recordings, or learning material

are generally non-refundable, because:

  • Access is activated instantly
  • Digital content is delivered immediately
  • Resources and mentor allocations are committed upon enrollment

3. LIMITED REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds may be considered only under the following circumstances:

A. Duplicate Payment

If a participant is charged more than once for the same enrollment.

B. Technical Access Failure

If the LMS platform fails to provide access for more than 7 consecutive working days, despite written support escalation.


C. Program Cancellation by ECF

If ECF cancels a paid program or batch before commencement, a full refund may be issued.

D. Payment Gateway Error

If payment is debited but enrollment is not confirmed due to a verified transaction failure.

4. REFUND REQUEST WINDOW

All eligible refund requests must be submitted within:

  • 7 calendar days of payment date

Requests made after this period will not be entertained except where legally mandated.

5. STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE SITUATIONS

No refund shall be issued under any of the following conditions:

A. Voluntary Discontinuation

If the participant chooses to withdraw, discontinue, or stop attending.

B. Partial Usage of Services

If the participant has:

  • Logged into the LMS
  • Accessed any module or content
  • Attended even one session
  • Downloaded/viewed any resources

C. Non-Attendance

Failure to attend sessions after enrollment does not qualify for a refund.

D. Misconduct or Discipline Breach

If access is revoked due to:

  • Violation of Code of Conduct
  • Disrespect to mentor guidance
  • Confidentiality breach
  • Community disruption
  • Recording or redistribution of teachings

Termination due to misconduct results in immediate forfeiture of fees paid.

E. Confidentiality & Sanctity Violations

Any unauthorized sharing of ECF teachings, session recordings, or internal guidance results in permanent revocation without refund.

F. Incorrect Purchase by User

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Wrong course selection
  • Failure to review program details
  • Change of mind after payment

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

Participant-Initiated Cancellation

Participants may request cancellation of future renewals, but:

  • Past payments remain non-refundable
  • Active period access continues until expiry

ECF-Initiated Cancellation

ECF reserves the right to cancel or reschedule programs due to:

  • Safety or disciplinary reasons
  • Mentor unavailability
  • Operational constraints
  • Force majeure events

In such cases, ECF may provide:

  • Refund, OR
  • Credit adjustment, OR
  • Batch transfer option

At ECF’s discretion.

7. PAYMENT GATEWAY & THIRD-PARTY PROCESSING DISCLAIMER

All payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.

ECF is not responsible for:

  • Bank delays
  • Gateway downtime
  • Transaction failures beyond platform control
  • Additional charges levied by banks/cards

Gateway Charges

In approved refund cases, applicable payment gateway or processing fees may be deducted as per provider policy.

8. REFUND PROCESSING TIMELINE

If approved, refunds will be processed within:

  • 10–15 business days

Refunds will be credited only to the original payment method used.

ECF does not process refunds via:

  • Cash
  • Cheque
  • Alternate accounts

9. CHARGEBACKS & PAYMENT DISPUTES

Participants are strongly encouraged to contact ECF before initiating any bank chargeback.

Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Immediate suspension of membership
  • Permanent denial of platform access
  • Legal recovery proceedings where applicable

10. FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE

ECF shall not be liable for refund obligations arising from events beyond reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Internet outages
  • Public emergencies
  • National security disruptions

In such cases, program access may be deferred or rescheduled.

Requests must include:

  • Full name
  • Registered email/phone
  • Payment transaction ID
  • Program name
  • Reason for request

ECF will respond within 7 working days.

12. FINAL AUTHORITY

All refund decisions shall be made solely by the ECF Core Administrative Team.

ECF reserves the right to deny any refund request that does not meet the criteria above.



ECF maintains strict confidentiality and discipline in all communications. Kindly avoid informal or unsolicited outreach to mentors or core guidance channels.
